Jira integration
#1
Hello all

We wish to implement bidirectional interfacing with jira. I see that Easyvista proposes Integrations with jira through Zapier.
Is it worth investing in purchasing zapier and learning it to use those intergrations ? Or are we better off implementing direct integrations using APIs on both sides.

We have an on premise installation

Thanks for your help
Amine.

You'd need to use Zapier, or any middleware for that matter, given Jira's primary outbound communication will be through webhooks; Jira doesn't support custom JSON. EasyVista right now does not support webhooks so you'd need the middleware to handle that and then take that data and convert it to the JSON format EasyVista needs.
