Conditional Section in a multi-section questionnaire
#1
I have a 3 part questionnaire that I'm working on, but I'm thinking it might be better to create a fourth section due to the sheer number of questions that section 3 contains.  The problem is, these questions might not be necessary based on an answer to the previous section.  Is it possible to have a conditional section of a multi-section questionnaire?  Basically, if the customer answers the last question of section 3 with a yes, they get to see section 4.  If they answer no, then they won't see it and can submit the ticket from section 3.  Is this possible?

Hello,
I don't think so, when he answer the last question of section 3, he see an empty section 4 with just a "submit" "cancel" button.

That's a shame, I was hoping there was a way to do this.
We have a couple of Questionnaires like this, and the workaround we have is to put in a conditional question with some text like: you have nothing to do on this page. I found just having a blank page with the Next/Previous buttons caused confusion.

What about changing the sections? Move the conditional questions to the section with their condition and show/not show based upon the answer, then move some of the other questions to that last section.

It's possible, although I'm trying to keep the layout similar to what we're currently using so that our clients won't be too thrown off when we switch to EV full time.  The disappointing thing is that I thought this was part of EV's functionality right out of the box, but no such luck.

I hear you. I'm frequently surprised by the seemingly obvious features that are left out of the service.

I agree 100%. It seems like it should be smart enough to not display a questionnaire if it doesn't have any questions to show. There is a post out on EV Voice to get this functionality added if people have votes to spare:
